The second-gen Ford GT sells for big money on the used market and this 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series is already at $1,000,000 on Bring A Trailer.

The Ford GT has always been an iconic car, one that has sparked the imagination, ever since it first whooped Ferrari at Le Mans, Daytona, and more.

So here’s a Ford GT Carbon Series for you, on BringaTrailer, only it’s not the classic one but a 2019 model, designed by Chris Svensson. If you want it, you have to bring more than a million to the table.

The 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series was 40 pounds lighter than before and came with breath-taking bodywork and acceleration to boast. With 2022 being the final year for the exclusive Ford GT, plenty have popped up on BringaTrailer recently. In January this year, a 31-mile 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series in stunning Snake Skin Green paint sold for a whopping $1.3 million and a couple of months later a 50-mile example in Frozen White paint went off for $1.275 million.

Now, we have an incredible-looking Chris Svensson-designed 500-mile 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series finished in special-order gray over a black Alcantara interior on the auction block. This particular carbon-fiber supercar has amazingly low miles on its odometer as well.

This one has just hit a $1 million mark with 9 more days remaining in the auction so it’s time to bid up.

This limited-edition Ford GT not only boasts a $70,000 “Lightweight” Carbon Series package but it also sports an exclusive $15,000 Carbon Series Graphics package. It gets distinctive red accents on the mirror caps and brake calipers matching with the center stripe on the hood. Other key amenities include LED headlights, a lightweight Gorilla Glass windshield, butterfly doors, a retractable active rear wing, LED taillights, a rear diffuser, gloss carbon-fiber exterior trim and paint protection film for the longevity of the patina.

Under the hood, it’s got a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 motor mated to a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transaxle. The transmission shifts via aluminum paddle shifters on the Alcantara-wrapped carbon-fiber steering wheel. This mid-mounted mill featuring a carbon-fiber engine cover hammers out a massive 647 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque all set to spin the rear wheels.

The carbon fiber is meticulously used all over the car including its door sills, dashboard, and center console. It rides on staggered-width 20″ gloss carbon-fiber wheels secured with locking titanium lug nuts. It also sports ultra-high performance Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires of 245/35 size in the front and 325/30 at the rear. Red carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes provide ample stopping power.

This track-focused hypercar has a clean Carfax report that lists no accidents or other damage while the digital odometer shows only 500 miles on it.
