Grammy Award-winning artist Jacob Collier joins forces with Shure

Grammy Award-winning artist Jacob Collier and Shure have teamed up to launch a brand new deep red chrome red Aonic Free true wireless soundproof earphone.

Shure is a company with nearly 100 years of audio shaping history. Since Jacob Collier received the SM58 vocal microphone on his 11th birthday, it has clearly been his brand of choice. Shure’s next evolution-the result of a collaboration with Grammy Award winners-takes technology from the studio to the streets, providing the rest of us with the same high-quality Shure audio that many artists and creators rely on .

The graphite gray Aonic Free, released earlier this month, received some initial positive reviews-although we have not yet tested it. With the holidays approaching, although a pair of soundproof headphones with excellent sound quality is a wish list of many people, the eye-catching crimson chrome red undoubtedly blends style and function on paper.

Over the years, many musicians have trusted Shure equipment on stage and in the studio, including Elvis, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez, Luke Bryan and now Jacob Collier.

"Frankly speaking, Aonic Free is the perfect choice for anyone who wants studio-quality audio anywhere," Collier said.

"Jacob's close relationship with Shure and his keen insight into the highest quality audio made us naturally decide to work with him," said Brook Giddens, Shure's global head of artist marketing.

Like the gray earphones, Shure Aonic Free earphones have a stylish, lightweight and compact design, with no hooks and a pocket-friendly design. In a world that needs to be personalized, you can also use the custom multi-band equalizer and presets of the ShurePlus Play app to customize the audio experience. Moreover, in addition to function control, the app also allows you to customize the tones and voice prompts for important notifications, such as power on/off, connection confirmation, and low battery.

When noise must be eliminated, Shure's sound insulation technology can be used, which can easily block external noise up to 37dB. In order to hear the surrounding sounds, the ambient mode also only needs to press a button to activate the external microphone.

It is claimed that the total playback time is 21 hours (7 hours of listening time, and the convenient carrying case can be charged two additional times) and fast charging function. It only takes 15 minutes to play for one hour. The battery life sounds good, if less than The class is one step ahead.

The Shure Aonic Free True Wireless Sound Isolating earphones are now available in graphite gray and the new dark red chrome red, with a retail price of £179/US$199/EUR 199 (approximately AU$300). The purchase includes earphones, fitting kit with S/M/L Comply foam sleeve, portable charging box and USB-C charging cable.
