Price: Rs 10,999 Color: Orchid-Platinum Stainless Steel, Black-Graphite Stainless Steel, Lunar White-Soft Gold Stainless Steel Box: FitBit Luxe tracker, silicone strap, magnetic charger fitness tracker is about health and happiness, delicate on the wrist Continuous power. Although there are many to choose from, there is hardly any difference because most of them look the same. But this does not apply to FitBit Luxe. Compared with other Fitbit products and other fitness bracelets on the market, Fitbit Luxe feels super high-quality and stylish. Unlike most cores made of hard plastic, the slim stainless steel shell on Luxe feels premium, lightweight, and feels super light. The included silicone strap has a soft finish and is comfortable to wear for a long time. This small strap is perfect for small wrists, but it looks a bit too small for large wrists. Complementing the design is the super bright color touch screen, which is clear and easy to read even under strong light. However, the touch response feels a bit slow. Also, I found that the screen is a bit too small to quickly browse the exercise log. Out of the box, Luxe must be paired with the Fitbit app, which takes a few minutes to set up. When finished, the navigation is to swipe down and to the side-Luxe does not have any physical buttons. Swiping to the left from the main window allows you to quickly access notifications, select exercises, enter a 2-minute relaxation cycle, access alarms and timers, and I can further explore some of them vertically. Swipe up from the main window to display the current day’s activity, hourly activity, heart rate, sleep data, etc. It took me a few days to get used to the small screen and navigation, but once it was done, using Fitbit Luxe was a pleasure. Unlike the all-round workouts tracked by other fitness brands, FitBit keeps it simple-it records walking, running, cycling, swimming, exercise, and treadmills, and suggests editing exercise shortcuts from the Fitbit app. I still restrict myself to home and use Luxe extensively to track my morning and evening walks. Although the heart rate during exercise recorded by Luxe is similar to that on Apple Watch, the number of steps is different. Every 1,000 steps, the number of steps recorded by Luxe is reduced by 30 steps-there is approximately a 300 step count difference for 10,000 steps. Luxe also supports running, but just like many people like to track the route they follow, this will be disappointing because Luxe does not have a built-in GPS and the accuracy depends on the phone’s GPS. Although Fitbit faces fierce competition from other fitness bands, one thing that stands out is a clean mobile app. The app highlights the day’s exercise activities, including steps, distance, and calories burned. Based on the statistics entered into the app, it will even suggest the number of minutes of exercise I should perform. Analyzing my statistics, it recommends 22 minutes of exercise a day and shows a neat breakdown of fat burning and aerobic exercise and peaks. Recently, the quality of sleep has been under a lot of pressure, and Fitbit has tracked it perfectly. It automatically detects sleep time, wake-up time, and the app has detailed sleep stage data, including wakefulness, rapid eye movement, light and deep sleep. Fitbit also calculated my sleep scores, most of which are between average and good. I was able to further improve it and reduce stress using the "relax" function, which involves slow and deep breathing for 2 minutes. In addition to health and fitness, Luxe also reflects the notification, but nothing special. All it does is notify incoming calls, text messages (I can only read but not reply) and notify upcoming calendar events. This compact wearable device is equipped with a proprietary charger that can be magnetically attached to the strap. A single charge lasted for a little more than four days of use, including sleep tracking, exercise, and mirror notifications. If you feel guilty about all the sweets you drank during the holiday season, don't worry, Fitbit Luxe can help you reduce these extra calories. Luxe offers a six-month free trial of FitBit Premium subscription, with guided tours and health reports. However, for Rs 10,999, in an already chaotic market full of affordable fitness bands, you pay a premium for Luxe.
